Aaliyah's debut album Age Ain't Nothing but a Number came out in 1994. The album came out as Gold in the year she turned just 15 years old. R. Kelly was a significant influence in this project which brought her into the spotlight. In 1996 Jermaine Durpri as well as Timbaland joined forces to record her second Album One In A Million.
