Heidi Klum, born on 1 June 1973, in Bergisch Gladbach Germany. Erna Klum was her mother. Her father Gunther Klum was the executive for a cosmetics business. Heidi's father worked as the producer of 4711 which was a fragrance company. Heidi was raised in Bergisch Gladbach which is a town of a million people located just 6 miles to the east of Cologne. Heidi Klum is a former German-American model, who currently works as a TV host as well as producer and fashion designer. Klum was up against over 250,000 contestants from Germany as well as Europe to make it one of three semifinalists. In April of 1992, she was awarded the biggest prize, which was $300,000.
