Jeanie Marie Buss, an American businesswoman from America. She is currently the president and owner-controller of the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. Buss is a native of California was raised with an impressive family background. Jerry Buss' father was an investor in real estate and went on to own the Lakers as well as various other sports organizations. Her feelings of abandonment were heightened as her parents divorced in 1972. When she was 19 years old, she joined the family's business, serving as general manager of the Los Angeles Strings professional tennis team. Then she founded an organization called the Los Angeles Blades team of professional roller hockey. Before she became vice president of the Lakers She was also the president of the Great Western Forum. Her father passed away in 2013 and his controlling ownership of the Lakers was inherited by Buss as well as her siblings by a trust of the family with each sibling having equal voting rights. Buss was elected president of the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss is also co-owner of Women of Wrestling a pro-wrestling promotion that is based within Los Angeles.
