Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is a native of Canada and is best known to Canadians due to her work as a Canadian actor on the Freeform fantasy show Shadowhunters. Also, she appeared in Venevision telenovelas Cosita linda and Voltea to whom you are enamores. As a dancer and model Toubia has also had the success she has achieved in both areas. Her birthplace was in Montreal, she was brought up in Texas. She has always enjoyed performing. As a little girl she began to learn diverse forms of dance. When she was 15 years old, she entered beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia became famous when she participated in Nuestra Belleza Latina, the Univision pageant program. In 2010, she began acting in a role as a receptionist in a Telemundo episode. She starred in Tattooed Love (2015), an action movie. Toubia received the two Teen Choice Awards nominations for Choice TV Actress Fantasy/Sci-Fi, in 2017 and 2018, for her performance in Shadowhunters.
